Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between free and paid accounts for talent?
The primary difference between the free and paid talent accounts is that paid accounts are included in the promotional aspects of the service. A free account can access most of the artist networking and calendars but will not be included in artist searches and gig notifications.
Can DJs use this service?
Yes! In fact the booking aspects of indiefuse are very well suited for most DJs. In order to use IndieFuse.com as a DJ, you will create a band profile but set the genre to DJ/Recorded Music.
What is the URL for my public band or DJ profile?
Your default profile location will be http://indeifuse.com/Home/BandDetail/Your-Band. The last portion is determined by the band name that you provide in your band profile. It will be that same as your band name but with spaces replaced with dashes. So if your band name is "Best Rock Band" then your URL will be http://indiefuse.com/Home/BandDetail/Best-Rock-Band.
How many shows can I get booked through IndieFuse.com?
Unlimited! We do not limit the number of shows that you can book or and the contacts from potential agents. Members get unlimited booking for the low monthly subscription.
How much does it cost to book a band?
We do not charge anything to book a band. Our role is to connect artists to the event planners who are looking for live entertainment. We charge a small fee to the artists for inclusion in the network but there is no cost beyond that.
Can I contact bands directly?
Yes. We do not restrict contact between artists and potential employers. We strive to make things as simple as possible for everyone involved so we limit our involvement to facilitating quality connections. By using the contact form on the artist's profile page, your message will be forwarded to the artist or manager for the artist. At that point all interaction will be between you and that artist.
Can I contact multiple bands at one time?
Yes. On the search screen, there is a form that can be used to submit the details of your show for distribution to our network. When you submit this form, our team will review the request and then distribute your request to all bands and DJs that match your needs. At that point all interaction will be between you and the the artists.
Why isn't my band included in the band directory and search?
In order for your profile to show up in the directory or to be included in gig distribution you must have a paid account and you must have your profile set to published. If you need to upgrade to a paid account, you can upgrade by navigating to your account settings and clicking on the "Upgrade" menu on the left. If you already have a paid account, you can update the settings for your profile by navigating to "My Bands" and clicking on the button "Edit / Details". On this screen you can update a variety of settings for your public profile along with the "Publish" setting.
